The Woven Edge® and Riviera Home Appoint Luke Thomas to Lead Interior Design and Contract Growth

Luxury flooring brands The Woven Edge® and Riviera Home have appointed Luke Thomas as Sales Manager, Interior Design & Contract, as the businesses strengthen their focus on the UK’s premium residential and contract interiors market.

The Woven Edge and Riviera Home are UK subsidiaries of Riviera Home Furnishings, a world leader in the manufacture of luxury textiles based in Panipat, India.

The Woven Edge® offers distinctive luxury carpets and handcrafted rugs for residential and commercial interiors. Its collections place an emphasis on texture, craftsmanship, quality materials and flexible design, including bespoke sizes, shapes and finishes.

Riviera Home Furnishings specialises in high-quality carpets and bespoke rugs, combining modern state of the art technology with traditional artisan textile skills passed down from generation to generation.

Based in London, Luke will cover the Capital and Home Counties and work closely with interior designers, architects and specifiers. Previously at Crucial Trading, Luke will draw on his extensive experience within the industry to introduce them to the companies’ extensive portfolio of luxury broadloom carpets and handcrafted rugs, including bespoke sizes, shapes, natural fibres, colours, textures and specialist finishes for residential and contract projects.

This appointment reflects the companies’ commitment to expanding their presence in the UK’s high-end residential market, with a greater focus on architects, interior designers and soft contract projects.
