FITA to Launch New Interactive Demonstration Zone at The Flooring Show 2026

The Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA) will unveil a completely reimagined FITA Demonstration Zone at The Flooring Show 2026 this September, introducing a far more interactive and accessible experience for visitors.

For 2026, the FITA demo area moves away from the traditional single-stand format and fixed timetable seen in previous years. Instead, visitors will be able to explore three dedicated live demonstration zones running continuously throughout the show, creating a more flexible and engaging environment focused on practical flooring installation skills and techniques.

The new format will feature rolling demonstrations covering subfloor preparation, textile, resilient and timber flooring installation, alongside showcases of specialist tools, equipment and machinery used across the industry.

A major change for this year is the introduction of a fully accessible ‘walk-on’ stand design. Unlike previous years, where visitors viewed demonstrations from the perimeter, attendees will now be able to get much closer to the action, speak directly with demonstrators, examine techniques in detail, and engage more freely with the demo team.

Throughout the event, the FITA team will be on hand to answer questions, share advice, and provide practical insight across all areas of flooring installation. Visitors attending The Flooring Show 2026 are encouraged to spend time within the FITA Demonstration Zone to experience the new format first-hand and see live flooring expertise up close.
