CFA Member Veitchi Flooring Sets High Standard for Sustainability

Contract Flooring Association (CFA) member Veitchi Flooring is proud to honour quality by association as part of its ongoing commitment to responsible waste management. The Glasgow-based flooring contractor, with regional offices in Dundee and Aberdeen, is a leading example of how a CFA member puts sustainability firmly at the heart of their business.

Supported by its CFA membership, ISO 14001 accreditation, Gold Membership of the Supply Chain Sustainability School, an impressive 97% landfill diversion rate, and active participation in Recofloor, Veitchi continues to help clients achieve their environmental goals while promoting practical, cost-effective recycling solutions across the flooring industry.

As a longstanding Recofloor member and Recofloor Champion Award winner, Veitchi has been recognised for its outstanding recycling achievements and commitment to sustainability. 

A standout example of Veitchi Flooring’s environmentally-friendly approach to installing vinyl is the Baird & Anchor Project at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where 10 tonnes of vinyl offcuts were collected and recycled through Recofloor. Larger sections were also reused on other NHS projects, further reducing waste. More recently, the company installed Polyflor Forest FX at both the Turriff Hospital Refurbishment and Royal Cornhill Hospital Kildrummy Ward Office Refurbishment, with all vinyl offcuts collected and returned to Recofloor recycling containers at Veitchi’s premises.
