Clerkenwell Design Week Returns 19th–21st May For 15th Anniversary

CDW is returning to London’s EC1 on 19th–21st May 2026, marking the 15th anniversary of this global design festival, With less than two weeks to go until Clerkenwell Design Week, now is the time to start planning your visit and to secure your free CDW badge. Flooring showrooms taking part in Clerkenwell Design Week include major names such as Altro, Amtico Flooring, Burmatex, Forbo Flooring, Interface, Karndean, Mapei, Parador, Shaw Contract and Tarkett.

Spanning six countries – from Spain, Italy and Norway to Germany, Austria and the UK – this year’s line-up brings dozens of international brands and studios to EC1, making CDW 2026 the most wide-ranging showcase of overseas design the festival has ever staged.

A new curated series of large-scale installations will be launched called Design Interventions. These site-specific, interactive installations, created by the design and architecture community, will appear in the parks, streets and green spaces of Clerkenwell, as well as in the festival’s venues. Many of these pop-up structures will provide a place to sit, reflect and connect with others while exploring structural and material concepts.

In addition, a major highlight this year will be the expanded CDW Awards, following its successful debut last year. The CDW Awards will take place in a new venue at Haberdashers’ Hall, known as The Luxury Edit during this show, with its ceremony on Tuesday 19th May. The CDW Awards will be presented with the digital design magazine Design Milk. It aims not only celebrate the best new products and innovations but also the disruptors, dreamers and ‘doers of design’.

St Bartholomew the Great once again becomes the Church of Design, this year’s venue for the coveted Conversations at Clerkenwell programme curated by PR and Brand Consultant Katie Richardson, which will include discussions with leading and emerging designers on topical subjects.
