For the first time in its 47 year history, leading adhesives manufacturer Palace Chemicals will be exhibiting at The Flooring Show this September in Harrogate. The company will showcase its range of high-performance levellers and surface preparation aids, alongside its exterior tiling solutions and adhesives. Palace will also highlight the strength and scale of its supply and services by spotlighting its water mix and 2-part latex products, including fast-track levellers.
Palace’s levelling range extends from a Thick Bed Reinforced Floor Levelling Compound which can be used up to an 80mm bed depth to solutions where a rapid finish is required such as Fast-Flex, with a newly updated fibre reinforced formula boasting the ability to level floors up to 50mm thick on a single pour. These products are suitable for different types of installation, conforming to all relevant standards and providing the usual Palace guarantee of effectiveness and technical excellence.
A flagship flooring product that will be on display at The Flooring Show is Pro Gyp-Base Fast Track Sealer, which solves key challenges when it comes to installing floor coverings over anhydrite (calcium sulfate) screeds. Firstly, it reduces the ‘time to tile’ to only 7 days old (or 95% RH). Secondly, it avoids the usual need for a special gypsum adhesive.
In addition, Palace will be presenting its popular Rock-Tite 3-part system for fixing 20mm external porcelain and stone tiles. Equally usable by professional flooring contractors or skilled DIYers, this innovative system enables its users to complete on-trend projects, which seamlessly transition indoor to outdoor space.
