What Do FITA’s Purpose-Built Training Centres Offer For Trainees?

At the Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA) every course is led by an experienced team of training consultants who bring industry knowledge and practical expertise to the classroom and workshop. They are passionate about helping installers grow their confidence and capability, teaching not just what to do, but also why it matters in real installations.

FITA’s training facilities provide dedicated, purpose-built training locations for flooring professionals. Equipped with modern training bays, expert instructors and excellent transport links, they provide the perfect environment to learn new skills, refine techniques and gain recognised qualifications with confidence. Based in Loughborough, England and Kirkcaldy, Scotland, FITA’s training centres provide support across Great Britain.

Located in the heart of Leicestershire, FITA’s England site in Loughborough benefits from excellent road links (M1) and proximity to Loughborough railway station.

Located in the heart of Fife, within the Forbo Flooring UK manufacturing plant, FITA’s Scotland site in Kirkcaldy benefits from excellent road links and is easy to reach by train or bus.

Both training centres provide a dedicated lecture and theory space for course learning alongside fully equipped fitting bays for hands-on practice. They include free Wi-Fi, and for selected courses include refreshments. With free on-site parking available, dropping in for training is stress-free.

Whether you’re attending a one-day workshop or 4-day training course, FITA believes that you’ll find everything you need to focus on your development.
