The CFA’s much-anticipated Golf Day returned to The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield on 24th April, with participants once again treated to good weather, despite it being a slightly chilly start.
Due to an overwhelming level of interest again this year, the tournament welcomed 64 enthusiastic golfers across both the iconic Brabazon course, renowned as the spiritual home of the Ryder Cup, and the PGA National course.
Upon arrival, golfers were welcomed with goody bags, followed by a hearty bacon roll and a hot drink to set them up for the day. The driving range proved popular, with many making the most of their complimentary practice tokens before heading out onto the fairways.
The Longest Drive competition was held on the 12th hole on the Brabazon and the 17th hole on the PGA, with one prize awarded across both. Nearest the Pin followed the same format, contested on the 3rd hole on the Brabazon and the 7th hole on the PGA.
After their rounds, players relaxed with a well-earned drink and buffet spread as final scores were tallied.
The CFA was delighted to have prize sponsorship again this year, and would like to extend a huge thank you to all its sponsors for their generous support.
Congratulations to the winners of the 2025 CFA Golf Day:
